    Chris’ journey

My Journey started in September 2020 by doing this access course at Keighley College. I am currently studying adult nursing at Bradford and going into my second year. My first day on the access course was a point where I was a little bit scared. I went into the classroom and thought ‘How am I going to learn and achieve this when I haven’t studied in over twenty years?’.

Completing the access course has put me in really good stead for university. I feel I had a lot of support at college, especially the library services and teachers on the access course. Any concerns you had, they were fantastic.

The access course opens so many doors to university that you can go into many different professions. It’s amazing and it’s the best thing I’ve ever done.
