School Liaison Team

Our dedicated School Liaison Team works in partnership with local secondary schools to provide students, teachers, and careers advisors with the guidance and support they need to explore future education and career pathways.

We are committed to raising aspirations, supporting progression, and helping young people make informed choices about their next steps.

Our services for schools include:

 

Bespoke presentations and Assemblies on post-16 options and college life
College taster days and subject-specific workshops
Careers fairs and school events support
Mock interviews and employability skills sessions
Information, advice, and guidance tailored to students’ needs
Campus tours and open event coordination
Regular updates on courses, entry requirements, and progression routes
Support for parents’ evenings and information sessions

School Liaison Project Executive

I am a former teacher, now specialised in IAG and customer service and have joined the Luminate School Liaison Team based at Keighley College.

As the School Liaison Project Executive, I work closely with secondary school Careers Leads to build strong connections between schools and Keighley college. My role oversees the School Liaison provision. I collaborate with careers advisors, teachers, and school and college staff to deliver tailored activities, events, and resources that inspire students to achieve their aspirations.

Shaneera Islam

School Liaison Officer

As the School Liaison Officer at Keighley College, I work closely with students, teachers and careers advisors to provide clear guidance on the many opportunities available in further education.

I have a background in Careers in further and higher education, and I’m passionate about supporting young people as they progress through education. I’m excited to meet pupils in schools as they start their journey post-16 and hope to help them feel excited about their futures.
