This course is only available for students who already have some experience and knowledge of fabrication and welding. Candidates who do not have prior experience, knowledge and a PEO qualification (or industry equivalent) will not be considered for this particular course. Overview
This is a vocationally related qualification, specifically designed to meet the needs of candidates who want to work in the sector, providing underpinning knowledge and enables candidates to have a component for the apprenticeship framework.

Entry Requirements
Previous experience in the Fabrication and Welding industry is required, You will also need to hold a Level 2 PEO (or industry equivalent).
If you are under 19 and you do not already have English and Maths GCSE grades C/4 or above, you will be required to undertake GCSE or Functional Skills alongside your main qualification.

Assessment will be taken in the form of online and written tests as well as practical assessment. -
