The course will start with getting familiar with the workshop health and safety, tools and equipment, while opening your eyes to future career prospects in the industry. You will complete specialist units related to engines, chassis, electrical and driveline.

    Compulsory units of health and safety, tools and materials and career job roles. Students will cover vehicle maintenance, engine overhaul, fuel, air, ignition exhaust systems, chassis and electrical.
  • Who is this course for?

    A course designed to further develop your motor vehicle skills. This course will allow you to remove, refit and diagnose a range of motor vehicle faults and repairs. This course will allow future progression towards Level 3 maintenance and repair and MOT testing.
  • Entry Requirements

    Maths and English Grade 4.

    Previous motor vehicle qualification at a lower level.
