Since it was founded in 1825 as Keighley Mechanics Institute, Keighley College has been embedded in the local business community. The College provides a range of training solutions designed to meet the needs of local employers. We work in close partnership with our employers and are introducing employer boards in our curriculum areas to ensure our training meets the needs of the businesses and that we produce apprentices who have the relevant skills and knowledge for their particular sector.

We aim for excellence in everything we do and have recently gained national recognition and accreditation for our engineering provision from the Institute of Mechanical Engineers and from the World Renowned Welding Institute for our Fabrication and Welding Centre.

Our curriculum teams are extremely flexible and wherever possible we tailor any training to meet the specific needs of the employer. We are also keen to work with employers to develop new provision where a requirement is identified.

Our friendly and professional team are always happy to hear from employers to discuss your requirements and to offer advice on the courses available, recruitment, succession planning and funding.
