Overview
Metal Fabricators work across sectors like engineering, construction, and the maritime sector, creating or repairing metal structures such as bridges, ships, oil rigs, and machinery parts. They use materials like steel, aluminium, and titanium, working with varying thicknesses and component sizes - from handheld parts to large structures. Fabricators operate in factories or on-site, either independently or in teams. They interpret technical specifications, ensure quality and accuracy, and follow strict health, safety, and environmental regulations. Daily interaction includes collaborating with supervisors, welders, designers, and other technical staff involved in the manufacturing, maintenance, and repair process. -
