Overview
A level Business will give you an understanding of how businesses start, how they evolve through the making of successful decisions, and how they adapt to an ever-changing world.
You will gain a strong understanding of business by studying topics such as business objectives and strategy, entrepreneurship, global business, marketing, finance, human resources and operations management. You will also look at how and why a business is set up and how external variables influence success.
You will be introduced to business operations and look in depth at the various functional areas needed for a business to succeed. Theory will be related to real-life and case study scenarios.

Entry Requirements
Five GCSEs at grade 9-4, including English. You will also need a grade 9-5 in GCSE Maths. -
Careers/Progression
Many students may go on from A level to study business-related degrees, such as business management, business and finance, logistics and supply chain management, events management and enterprise.
This course can also provide a useful foundation from which to pursue business-related careers and interests, including entrepreneurship and setting up your own business.
