Chummy’s World… An eventful time at Keighley College
What a week!
Hello to all my lovely friends at Keighley College.
My goodness – what an exciting couple of weeks we’ve had here at Keighley College. It’s been a delight for me as usual. I’ve been overwhelmed by all the cuddles I’ve had – thanks guys, keep them coming!
I noticed some very special visitors in the college last week… they were smartly dressed and wore visitor badges. They made all the staff members go a bit wobbly whenever they walked by! I think they were from the MI5. I’m sure we’ll find out soon enough!
I really enjoyed spending some quality time in the library and reading my Pugly book – I just love sticking my head into a good book! People always say I’m a really good pug for reading every day. 🙂
And in other news… Well, some of our students went on an Erasmus trip to Finland! Which sounds brilliant. They’ve had a fantastic time! More news to come on the Finland trip…
Should 16 year olds be allowed to vote?
We set up a voting booth which was situated in the Library, this gave students an opportunity to vote on whether they should be given the right to vote from 16, in recognition of women winning the right to vote 100 years ago. Maybe, one day, pugs will be given the right to vote too!
Overall, the consensus was YES. 16 year olds should be allowed to vote!
Other VERY special events
My favourite day of the year finally came round yesterday. Yes, you guessed it – Pancake Day! I ate almost 100 pancakes covered in cream, bananas, strawberries, chocolate, cheese and whatever I could get my paws on! And today is Valentine’s Day! So I’m sending lots of love and cuddles and kisses to all of my special valentines – woof woof!
Thanks so much for reading. Don’t ever stop loving me!
