CACHE Level 1 Award in Preparing to Work in Schools, part time

This introduction course is 3 weeks long and can be a pre-requisite to the 10 week CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning. It is a qualification that can enable people to work in schools as a teaching assistant.

    The course gives you a basic understanding of how schools operate, safeguarding procedures in schools and how to best support children in their learning.

    Adults learners. Anyone with an interest in working with children and young people in an educational setting.
  • Entry Requirements

    A reasonable level of written English to be assessed at interview.

    Your understanding will be assessed through three assignments, one for each unit, which will be done in class.
