Entry Requirements
3 GCSEs at least grades 3-4 including Maths and English or a Level 1 qualification in Hairdressing with the appropriate level of English and Maths. If you are under 19 and you do not already have English & Maths GCSE grades 4-9 or equivalent you will be required to undertake GCSE or Functional Skills alongside your main qualification. -

You will develop: Hairdressing up to Level 2 standard, communication skills, confidence skills, industry understanding, work experience and enterprises skills, competition opportunities, minimum standards and expectations within the industry, health and safety legislation within the industry, dexterity skills. E-learning is a key part of this course. -
Careers/Progression
You may progress into employment as a stylist or a Level 3 apprenticeship in a salon, or further progress to full/part time Level 3 at Keighley College.
