Care Standards will enable you to be confident in how to deliver care in a health care setting. The training will broaden your knowledge of the roles and responsibilities within the Health Social sector.

There are a wide range of units covered, including but not limited to:

  • Care Values
  • Communication
  • Infection Control
  • Health and Safety
  • Safeguarding
  • Individual Needs
  • Person Centred Care
  • Emergency care and first aid
  • Mental Capacity

You will be develop skills to care for others and the responsibilities of working as a professional in a caring environment

You will be assessed through an array of assessment methods:

Written work, posters/leaflets, work books and online courses

Witness testimonies and prior learning will also be used to assess you. Your tutor will be on hand to support your throughout your training

This course will be delivered remotely

No formal qualifications required
