This Level 3 qualification is for full time students who wish to progress from Level 2 maintenance and repair, to study motor vehicle diagnostics and fault finding principles.

Overview
This Level 3 qualification is designed for students to be able to identify, trace record and repair motor vehicle diagnostics and fault finding principles.
You must have a Level 2 diploma qualification in motor vehicle maintenance and repair, as this qualification builds upon that knowledge already gained.

Entry Requirements
A previous Level 2 Diploma qualification in motor vehicle maintenance and repair.
Minimum grade 4 at maths and English.

Assessment Types
The course consists of a combination of written reports from workshop activities and online multiple choice knowledge assessments through the awarding body. -
