This qualification is for learners who want to start a career in art and photography. It is an ideal qualification for learners who would like to progress to employment in Art and Design, to enthuse learners to consider a career in Art or to support progression to specialised level 3 vocational or GCE Art and Design course.

- Photography Briefs
- Designing for the Future
- Communicating Ideas in 3D
In addition to studying your main programme you will follow a course to improve your English, maths and employability skills. Learners will also develop their research skills.
There is a mixture of internally and externally assessed units.

A minimum of 4 GCSEs at Grade D or above ideally including Mathematics and/or English or equivalent (Level 1 Functional Skills).
