  • Overview

A level Biology explores key biological systems, examining the molecules that make up all living things, the component cells and the reactions between them. It enables you to compare the difference between animal and plant systems and investigate the fundamental properties necessary for life.

In your second year, you will explore biological systems in further detail, learning how different parts of the body interact. The study of different populations, ecology and communication will deepen your understanding of the subject.
