Advanced Apprenticeship in Motor Vehicle (Level 3)
The apprentice will gain both technical knowledge and real practical experience, along with functional and personal skills. These are acquired through a mix of learning in the workplace, formal off-the-job training and academic study at college. This will also include Employment Rights and Responsibilities.
As a motor vehicle technician you will be involved servicing and repairing light vehicles in a dealership or for an independent garage. In the work place apprentices will carry out diagnostic vehicle inspections including diagnostic servicing, repair and replacement of faulty components.

GCSE grades A*-C in Maths and English or Level 2 Functional Skills.
Entry on to this qualification is subject to having completed a Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Level 2.
A typical job role would be a Vehicle Service Technician.
On a day release basis at Keighley College alongside full time employment.
