Advanced Apprenticeship in Customer Service (Level 3)
Further enhance your customer service skills by understanding the different types of customer whilst gaining more experience in the field. The apprentice will gain an understanding of the customer service environment, the principles of business, customer retention and the use of technology to improve customer service. In the work place, some apprentices will be required to make and receive telephone calls confidently, while others will help with the organisation of meetings and effectively be able to use, handle mail and use office equipment. Other duties may include welcoming visitors to their business therefore the apprentice should have key communication skills and customer-handling skills. Apprentices will be required to have the skills, knowledge and competencies to support business systems, processes and services to contribute to making businesses more efficient and productive.

– Level 2 Functional Skill in English

Typically job roles include; Customer Service Assistant, Representative or Agent.
Preferable Maths and English grades A* – C or Level 2 Functional Skills. A good level of IT skills or an Intermediate Apprenticeship in Business Administration.
The course is delivered on a day release basis at Keighley College.
