Apprentice Customer Service Administrator – Gesipa Ltd

A fantastic opportunity is available to join our team at Gesipa. We have been in Keighley since 1971 and are part of a large European group of companies. We have invested heavily in our factory and our staff and continue to do so. We operate a modern industrial production facility able to offer a full process from concept through to design, manufacture and testing in addition to standard off the shelf products. We have a busy and vibrant Customer Service office in our newly refurbished administration area, making it a very comfortable place to work. Gesipa believes in growing it’s own talent and has a strong history of retaining and promoting staff from within.

Working as part of the Customer Services Team, the key responsibilities are:

  • To process and deal with all incoming customer requirements
  • Follow through customer orders
  • To resolve customer queries
  • Working with external sales team
  • To ensure that customer requirements are achieved

Process and progress all incoming sales orders quickly using SAP system
Communicate with customers
Planning and ensuring stock levels are available
To communicate and liaise effectively with other functions within the business to facilitate the process flow.
Providing reports to specific timescales
Ensuring departments have the right plans to produce manufactured products
Any other duties to support the delivery of the company objectives and are required to fulfil the role.

Working hours
  • Monday – Thursday 08.30 – 17.00 hours
  • Friday – 08.30 – 12.00 hours
  • Alternate cover for 30 minutes every Friday from 08.00 – 08.30 hours when required
Salary: £5.50 per hour

Qualifications Required

GCSE grades C or above in Maths and English

Computer literacy and accurate typing skills

Acceptance is subject to college initial assessment, and interview.
