Welder Training and Coding

Professionally trained and certificated welders improve customer confidence, reduce the need for rework, with its associated costs, whilst improving repeatability, quality and productivity. European standards reinforce the importance of welding competence, placing stringent controls on the industry for the protection of users.

Keighley College offers welder training from basic start up to advanced level. We have gone through a strict audit for our services to be accredited by The Welding Institute (TWI) to deliver coded welder qualifications. Our tutors are highly experienced and also trained and certificated by TWI.

Following an initial competence assessment, the training is designed to suit the needs of your staff and the requirements of your organisation. This ensures that every member of your team develops the skills that they require to carry out welding tasks competently and to the required standard. Training and testing takes place at our dedicated 15 bay welding facility where each delegate is allocated his/her own work bay, fully equipped with the latest welding equipment.

Keighley College can offer training and testing in MMA, MAGs and TAG processes and we offer training and certification in BS 4872, BS EN 287, ASME IX and ISO 9606.
